Mandy Williams earns award from the International Union of Soil Science

Mandy Williams received the 2014 Young Micromorphologist's Publication Award from the International Union of Soil Science Commission 1.1
for her publication entitled, "Biological Soil Crusts in the Mojave Desert, USA: Micromorphology and Pedogenesis" Soil Science Society of America Journal (2012) 76(5), 1685-1695. The award is given every two years to an author under the age of 35 for a publication that is an outstanding contribution to the principles, methodology, or application of micromorphology.
