MSU and UNLV undergraduates Emma Murter and Julienne Paraiso selected for summer REU at Tongji

Two undergraduates, Emma Murter (MSU) and Julienne Paraiso (UNLV) are recipients of 10-week PIRE REU fellowships for summer 2012. The students will attend a one-week field trip to hot springs in the U.S. Great Basin organized by Chuanlun Zhang, Eric Boyd, and Brian Hedlund before traveling to China to for eight weeks of lab research at Tongji University in Shanghai. Students will present their research at meetings when they return.
