Hedlund lab funded through DOE Joint Genome Institute, 2012

The Hedlund lab was awarded a grant from the Department of Energy's Joint Genome Institute Community Sequencing Program entitled "Sequencing the genomes of two abundant thermophiles in Great Basin hot springs: Thermocrinis jamiesonii and novel Chloroflexi Thermoflexus hugenholtzii". This grant provides funds and collaboration to sequence, assemble, and annotate complete genomes for two important thermophiles.
